SHAKER HEIGHTS, Ohio — An elderly woman who was attacked by a dog in Shaker Heights Sunday has died, according to the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner’s Office.

INNOCENT? the phrase ‘Nanny Dog’ was never used innocently. it was a very deliberate, very deceptive campaign to manipulate people into accepting a FIGHTING bred dog into the community.

BADRAP (or JANE) has employed a talented public relations specialist. they have managed to put a fantastic spin on the reversal of the ‘Nanny Dog’ myth and back peddled right out of that sticky mess. or so they think. but trying to flush this lie from internet will be a herculean task, similar to trying to remove pee from the pool. the damage is done. this LIE will never be erased and the truth will still be trying to put its pants on long after DONNA’S big announcement has fallen from the top of the page.

flip flopping is nothing new for DONNA REYNOLDS. years ago, she said things like “pit bulls are naturally dog aggressive” and advised people against taking their pit bulldogs to dog parks. now she talks in terms of “individuals” and “dog selective”. i think the change happened right around the time BADRAP became JANE BERKEY’S pet project.

let me be perfectly blunt. i’m calling shenanigans on BADRAP. i have a theory. rather than try to explain “the myriad of vintage photos” as DONNA claims, i think the likes of BADRAP, AFF and the utah cult BEST FRIENDS, aggressively sought out vintage photos of pit bulls with kids in an attempt to reinvent the pit bull into something that didn’t scare people.

pit zealots like to point the finger of blame to the famous 1987 sports illustrated article for ruining the reputation of their pit bulldogs. but media coverage works both ways. after the famous vick bust of 2007 and the “rehabilitation” of his grippers, pit bulldogs, especially vick pit bulldogs were constantly being paraded in the media. there was a massive surge in all of the myths: nanny dog, it’s all how they’re raised, ATTS, man biters were culled etc.

Well socialized dogs may be highly tolerant of rough handling, but expecting them to be Super Beings is setting them up to fail. Watch this video to see how far one parent pushes his luck. One thing that bring to my attention is Michael Vick. He was condemned and imprisoned for using pit bulls for what they were made for. They are fighting machines and only fit for death after they are used. “Don’t blame the dog” logic

Pit bull owners frequently blame the “environment” after a pit bull seriously injures a person. A participant in the Tufts study illustrates this clearly, “If you get some kid that has been beaten all his life, he’s going to go out and be aggressive towards people.”12 The intention is to assert that an aggressive pit bull must have been beaten or taught to attack by their owners instead of admitting to the genetic traits that define the breed (See: Why do people say that pit bulls “don’t let go?”)

Pit bull owners frequently direct blame onto victims after an attack too. While “blaming the victim” is a universal phenomenon, pit bull owners do so offensively. The instance involving Wendy Blevins, who DogsBite.org awarded 2008 Victims Advocate of the Year, is an excellent example. After Tina Agerson’s pit bull casually walked up to Wendy and her daughter and latched onto the child’s head, Wendy immediately straddled the attacking dog and pulled it off Charlotte.

As blood flew everywhere, Agerson stood by and watched. She later said that Wendy “blocked” her from getting her dog. In a subsequent blog post about the incident, a pit bull advocate left a comment asking why Wendy did not have insurance to cover her child’s medical bills, which surpassed $110,000 in 30 days. First, Wendy was insured; second, the commenter blamed the victim for being unable to pay these bills after “someone else’s dog” nearly killed her child.

In a separate incident, a victim with a history of seizures was blamed for the attack that led to her death. Kelli Chapman was sleeping in her bed when her two pet pit bulls killed her. It was quickly assumed that because she suffered from seizures, she must have had one and the pit bulls “naturally” reacted to it by killing her. Yet, we will never know if she suffered a seizure, and if she did, the order of events: Did a seizure cause the attack or did the attack cause a seizure?13

In nearly all instances of serious and fatal pit bull attacks, pit bull owners, and in some cases authorities, blame the attack on the environment or the actions of the victim. There is a refusal on their part to admit that a pit bull will attack unprovoked. Some of the most grievous examples include a child holding a stuffed animal and a child bumping into a pit bull. “Don’t Blame the Dog” believers say such actions sufficiently explain why the pit bull severely injured or killed the child.

The Pit Bull Terrier or American (Pit) Bull Terrier was bred solely to do combat in a dogpit. They were never nurse’s aids, nanny dogs, soldiers’ rescue dogs, herding dogs, astronauts, physicists or anything other than combat dogs. I am always suspicious of those who claim to love this breed while simultaneously in such denial of what the breed is in reality. If you love something you love it for what it truly is and not for something it has never been and can never become.

You need to have any SHARP object with you — knife, scissors, tent stake, spike, pen, keys — and STAB THE PIT BULL IN THE EYES. Or if you can’t quite hit the eyes because its head is moving, aim for the head area — eyes, ears, nose, or throat, or the side of the mouth. If you can’t reach the head area, stab it in the groin or butt (hole). Then KEEP ON stabbing and slashing until it stops.

People need to stop acting like wimps and becoming victims of these horrible dogs. Arm yourself whenever you’re likely to be around stray dogs, and then don’t hold back if you’re attacked. Don’t wait until your arm is half chewed off. Do as much serious damage to the vicious beast as you possibly can, as quickly as possible. That’s the only way to deal with a pit bull attack once it starts.

But they can’t admit that. So when their pit bull lunges at a cat and bites its head off, they tell themselves this is the way it is with animals, even though it is rare for any other breed to kill any other animal for no reason. They tell themselves, for a real-life example, when their pit bull attacks and practically scalps a three-year old girl climbing out of a car, that the sudden opening of the car door was the trigger — in other words, the kid had it coming. It’s never the dog’s fault.
