Nigel reportedly picked Robert Dennis up off the ground and bit him in the leg. The pig had apparently escaped from his enclosure in an industrial area and decided to roam the nearby streets.

Dennis reportedly heard noises outside of his home so he stepped outside to see what was going on. Nigel went straight towards the victim and attacked him.

Dennis stated “It’s just unbelievable. You don’t expect to be gored by a pig on a Sunday afternoon.”

Nigel is known as a celebrity in the local area. He has his own Facebook page. The pig owner said Nigel was picked up from a farm about 2 years ago. His coloring made him unwanted in the meat market.

These days Nigel reportedly eats cookies as part of his diet. Local residents commonly swing by his enclosure to visit the normally friendly pig, making it a mystery why he would suddenly attack a human.
